Are You Caring,
or Just Curious?

I’ve realized that not everyone who asks about my life genuinely cares. Some are curious. Some are being polite. Only a few are truly checking in with love.

When I’m walking through something heavy, even a simple “How are you?” carries energy. My intuition reads it instantly.

After 50 years, I can feel the difference between caring and curiosity.

How Caring Feels Like

Caring arrives gently; it doesn’t push for details.
It creates space for you to breathe.

You feel seen, not studied.
You feel lighter after answering, not exposed.

Caring holds your heart, not your story.

How Curiosity Feels Like

Curiosity seeks information.
It rushes the silence.
It wants the play-by-play, not the inner truth.

You feel a subtle contraction – like you shared too much, too fast.

Curiosity is not unkind.
It’s just not the energy that heals.

I’ve learned that not everyone needs access to your inner world.

Some people are companions to your journey; others are observers of your circumstances. And that’s okay.

Your role is simply to trust your intuition, honor your boundaries, and recognize that:

Caring expands you.
Curiosity informs you.
Only one deserves your deepest truths.

Let your intuition guide you toward those who hold your heart with reverence.
