When Chaos Feels
Like Chemistry

The definition of modern love has been hijacked by what we see on TV, movies, instagram reels, and sensationalized 2nd hand stories.

We mistake inconsistency for excitement.
We label unpredictability as passion.
We call butterflies “chemistry.”

When someone is acting hot one minute and cold another, our nervous system stars firing. The uncertainty feels electric and exciting.

For many of us, instability feels familiar. The on-again, off-again attention keeps us on our toes.

On the other hand, stability shows up in the form of predictability, clear communication, transparency, and consistency.

And something inside us whispers, this is boring.

It’s not boring. It’s regulated.

Real love doesn’t spike your cortisol. It softens your breath. It lets your shoulders drop. It doesn’t leave you guessing where you stand, why you didn’t get a reply, or if he still likes me. You feel grounded.

Love that depends on chaos will always need more chaos. But love rooted in steadiness and consistency deepens over time.
